Novozymes Grows in 2009, Expects a Boost from U.S. Biofuels in 2010

Novozymes (Copenhagen), an enzymes technology firm, says its operating profit for fourth quarter 2009 increased 16% to DKr 431 million ($81 million), compared to the year-ago period, with corresponding sales up 7% to DKr 2.2 billion. Operating profit margin for the fourth quarter rose to 19.9%, up from 18.3% for the period a year earlier.
