Materia: Moving to a New Phase of Catalyst Production

Privately owned metathesis catalyst technology firm Materia (Pasadena, CA), which started up in 1998, says it is on the cusp of major growth. “We’ll be making announcements in the next few quarters on a series of global joint ventures and partnerships,” says Michael A. Giardello, Materia’s CEO. Materia has a team of about 78 full time staff and sales of above $10 million/year.
