Gelest Signs Organosilicon Compounds Licensing Agreement

Gelest (Morrisville, PA) has signed a licensing agreement with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (U of I; Champaign, IL) to produce and market organosilicon compounds for use in cross-coupling reactions, the company announced today. The technology, which is currently in the research stage, is aimed at synthetic applications in the pharmaceutical industry.
