CB&I and Clariant to commission PP catalyst plant at Louisville next year

CB&I and Clariant announced today that their previously announced Ziegler-Natta (ZN) polypropylene (PP) catalyst production plant in Louisville, KY is on schedule to begin production in 2015. The plant is part of a long-term strategic partnership between Clariant’s catalysts business and CB&I's Lummus Novolen technology business. The facility, based at Clariant's largest US production hub, will combine innovative catalysts, jointly developed by both companies, with high-capacity output to serve the fast growing PP industry.
