Axens and Headwaters Create Coal Liquefaction Tech JV

Axens (Paris), a petrochemicals technology provider, and Headwaters (South Jordan, UT), a materials technology firm, say they have created a joint venture company Alliance DCL, to provide solutions for producing clean transport fuels via direct coal liquefaction (DCL). Alliance DCL is providing DCL technology as a stand alone activity or in conjunction with other feedstocks such as refinery residues or biomass.
