GTAT signs equipment, technology agreement for polysilicon project in Malaysia

GT Advanced Technologies (GTAT; Merrimack, NH) has signed a $336-million supply agreement with Cosmos Chemicals (Kuala Lumpur) to provide equipment and technology for a 25,000-m.t./year polysilicon facility in the state of Sarawak, Malaysia, GTAT announced today. The project is sponsored by Project Management & Development Co. (Al Jubail).
