Start-up announces biobased para-xylene breakthrough

Anellotech, a New York City–based start-up developing biobased routes to aromatics, says it has licensed technology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst that will triple the para -xylene ( p -xylene) yields of its catalytic fast pyrolysis (CFP) technology.
