Solvay to invest €5 million in industrial biotechnologies fund

Solvay says it will invest €5 million ($6.48 million) in the Green Seed Fund launched by Sofinnova Partners (Paris), a leader in venture capital dedicated to life sciences in Europe. The Green Seed Fund is currently holding a fundraising round, which first closed at €22.5 million, and its purpose is to finance European small and medium enterprises active in industrial biotechnologies.
