Roche to Acquire Two Firms in North America

Roche has announced plans to acquire two biotechnology firms in North America. The company says it has agreed to purchase biotech company Arius Research (Toronto) for about C$191 million ($187 million), and that it has signed a separate deal to acquire biopharmaceutical company Mirus Bio (Madison, WI) for $125 million.
