Merck KGaA and Lonza Make Bioscience Acquisitions in Bangalore, India

Lonza says it has acquired the preclinical cell and molecular biology assets of Simbiosys Biowares India (Bangalore, India), a biology outsourcing company. In a separate move, Merck KGaA says it has acquired Bangalore Genei (Bangalore), a bioscience group, from its parent company Sanmar Specialty Chemicals (Chennai, India).
