EnviroTech :: Biotech Dyadic and Abengoa Expand Bio-based License Agreement9:20 AM MDT | May 11, 2012 | Lindsay Frost Dyadic (Jupiter, FL) and Abengoa (Sevilla, Spain) have expanded their license agreement to continue to develop bio-based chemicals. Abengoa will pay Dyadic $5.5 million for the expansion under the non-exclusive license agreement originally entered by both companies in February 2009. The agreement will allow Abengoa use of Dyadic’s C1 platform technology to sell, manufacture and develop enzymes for both first and second generation biorefining and other bio-based processes that convert biomass into sugars for fuel and chemical production in specific...
