Dutch Biopolymer Firms Combine

Privately owned Rodenburg Biopolymers (Oosterhout, the Netherlands), a biopolymer producer, has acquired Optimum (Rotterdam), also a biopolymer producer. Financial terms were not disclosed.   The acquisition of Optimum provides Rodenburg with a second technology platform.
