DSM to Build Biopharmaceutical Facility in Australia

DSM Biologics says it has signed preliminary agreements to enter into a partnership with the governments of the state of Queensland, Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia to build and operate a mammalian biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility at Brisbane. The facility will be the first major mammalian contract manufacturing organization in Australia, DSM says. The governments of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia will provide the full financial funding for the facility which is part of Queensland’s 10-year biotechnology strategic plan. DSM...
