EnviroTech :: Biotech Court Upholds Labelling of Hormone-free Milk in Ohio10:50 AM MDT | October 8, 2010 | Alex Scott The Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals has overturned the state of Ohio’s ban on the use of labels showing that milk sold in the state is from cows free of bovine growth hormone. Parents groups have welcomed the ruling. Labels that had been banned by the state of Ohio included ‘rbGH free,’ ‘rbST free,’ and ‘artificial hormone free.’ The Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that milk from hormone-treated cows also is different from hormone-free milk.
