The big innovation news this past week is today's move by Elevance (Bolingbrook, IL), the company with metathesis catalyst technology developed by the brilliant professor Grubbs, to secure yet another partner. This week's deal is with Clariant and the target is the codevelopment of biobased plastic additives. Last week it was Hutchinson Worldwide (Paris), and the target biobased rubber additives.
