EnviroTech :: Biotech Biofertilizer pilot plant to be built in Spain12:42 PM MDT | March 19, 2013 | Francinia Protti-Alvarez The Basque Institute for Agricultural Research and Development (Bilbao, Spain), Neiker-Tecnalia (Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain), and Ekonek (Guipuzkoa, Spain) will jointly build a pilot plant to treat organic waste for the production of high-added-value fertilizers, Neiker-Teknalia announced. The plant will be located on Neiker-Tecnalia’s agricultural land in Arkaute, in Basque Country, Spain. The project's €1.5-million ($1.96 million) budget will be provided by the European Union and 4 organizations will participate in the initiative: Neiker-Tecnalia, Ekonek...
