EnviroTech :: Biotech Amyris Signs Fourth Manufacturing Deal7:55 AM MST | March 3, 2011 | Rebecca Coons Synthetic biology firm Amyris (Emeryville, CA) says it has signed a contract manufacturing deal for Antibióticos (Madrid) to manufacture farnesene at its León, Spain facility. Financial terms were not disclosed. Amyris and Antibióticos commenced test fermentation runs in January, and, based on the successful outcome of those production runs, are proceeding with expanded production, Amyris says.
