EnviroTech :: Biotech Actavis to Enter Biosimilars8:37 AM MDT | September 8, 2010 | Deepti Ramesh Generic pharmaceuticals producer Actavis (Hafnarfjordur, Iceland) says it plans to enter the field of biosimilars. Actavis has entered into an initial agreement with biotechnology company Bioton (Warsaw) to facilitate discussions for possibly entering into an agreement to acquire 51% stake in Biopartners (Baar, Switzerland), a unit of Bioton. Actavis will perform a due diligence of Biopartners.
