ATMI (Danbury, CT), a producer of disposable equipment used in the manufacture of biologic drugs, says it has acquired Artelis (Brussels, Belgium), a biotech firm and a producer of disposable manufacturing equipment. Financial terms were not disclosed. Among its activities, Artelis is an innovator in the area of efficient bioprocesses and technologies for cell culture research and manufacturing scale-up.
