Myriant supplies biosuccinic acid to Oxea for use in biobased plasticizers

Myriant (Quincy, MA), a renewable chemicals company majority owned by PTT Global Chemical (Bangkok), announced today that it has supplied commercial quantities of biosuccinic acid to Oxea to produce biobased, phthalate-free plasticizers. Oxea, owned by the Oman Oil Co., produces oxo intermediates and oxo derivatives, such as alcohols, polyols, carboxylic acids, specialty esters, and amines. Myriant makes biosuccinic acid at Lake Providence, LA.   Oxea is expanding its product portfolio of phthalate-free plasticizers with a new biobased Oxblue product...
