Verdezyne assesses Malaysia as location of first biochemical facility in Asia/Pacific

Verdezyne (Carlbad, CA) has entered into a collaboration with Biotechnology Corp. (Kuala Lumpur), a biobased industry development agency, as part of Verdezyne's assessment of Malaysia as the possible location of the company's first biochemical production facility in the Asia/Pacific region, Verdezyne announced. The collaboration seeks to accelerate Verdezyne’s commercialization of biobased adipic acid following the success of a pilot plant that was established at the end of 2011, as reported by CW.
