EnviroTech :: Alternative fuels Sud-Chemie, Linde Start Up Biofuel Pilot Plant9:01 AM MDT | May 8, 2009 Süd-Chemie and Linde have begun pilot-scale production of biofuel from cereal straw at Süd-Chemie’s Munich research center. The process was jointly developed under terms of a May 2008 exclusive cooperation agreement between Süd-Chemie and Linde that combines Süd-Chemie’s know-how in biocatalysis and bioprocessing with Linde’s expertise in chemical and biotechnological plant engineering.
