Successful test flight powered by Sinopec biofuel

The first flight in China powered by a newly developed biofuel was conducted successfully, says Sinopec. The biofuel, made from palm oil and recycled cooking oil, was used by an Airbus A320 of China Eastern Airlines during an 85-minute flight. The biofuel produced enough power during the flight and "was no different from traditional fuel," says Sinopec, citing the pilot.
