Researchers Develop Low Cost Nickel Fuel Cell Catalyst

Researchers led by Lin Zhuang, professor of chemistry at Wuhan University (Wuhan, China), say they have developed a nickel-based catalyst for creating anodes in fuel cells. The anode is coated with nickel particles and also features chromium that is tolerant to oxidation.
