Portuguese firm to supply biodiesel plant in Saudi Arabia

IncBio (Maia, Portugal) has secured an agreement to supply Bio Renewable Energy Factory (Bref; Riyadh) with a 40,000-m.t./year biodiesel plant, IncBio announced today. Bref says it aims to become the second fuel-producing company in Saudi Arabia, joining Saudi Aramco. IncBio and Bref expect the plant to be complete by the fourth quarter of this year. Bref's plant will be the first biofuel facility able to recycle oil generated from the food and service industries, IncBio says.
