Foster Wheeler and Praxair Link on Clean Coal

Foster Wheeler and Praxair say they have entered into a partnership to develop clean coal technologies that incorporate Praxair’s oxy-coal combustion process for coal-fired power plants. The companies say they will jointly pursue demonstration projects for the oxy-coal technology over the next 3-4 years. Their first project will be a previously announced carbon dioxide (CO2) capture and sequestration demonstration facility to be constructed at Jamestown, NY.
