EnviroTech :: Alternative fuels Dow Links with Oil Firm for Carbon Capture Project1:29 PM MST | December 1, 2009 Dow Chemical says it has signed a memorandum of understanding with oil and gas firm Denbury Onshore (Plano, TX) under which Denbury will capture carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from Dow’s Plaquemine, LA ethylene oxide plant. Denbury will transport the CO2 via a soon-to-be built pipeline to its oilfield near Houston, where it will use the CO2 in its enhanced oil recovery operations.
