BioMCN Starts Up Glycerine-to-Methanol Pilot

BioMethanol Chemie Nederland (BioMCN; Delfzijl, The Netherlands) says it has successfully started up its 20,000-m.t./year pilot facility, which uses the by-product glycerine from biodiesel production to manufacture biomethanol.
