Dow Chemical and coal mining company Shenhua Group (Beijing) are on course to complete a detailed feasibility study next year for a previously announced coal-to-chemicals joint venture in China, says Jim McIlvenny, president/Asia Pacific and Greater China at Dow. “The size of the project will be massive,” McIlvenny told attendees at CW’s annual China Chemical Industry Conference, held recently in Shanghai.
