Petrochemical prices divided

As most of the May contracts were being settled sharp divisions between buyers and sellers emerged in several primary and intermediates markets, players report. May butadiene in Europe remains unsettled. As with ethylene, a wide delta exists between spot and contract prices. Spot naphtha in Europe ticked lower $10/m.t. and other spot olefins did as well: ethylene by E20/m.t. and propylene by E10/m.t.
