Intermediate prices mostly stalled

Other than a quiet roll of the European ortho-xylene contract price into May, intermediates settlements are widely reported stalled. Isomer xylenes are hanging fire on settlements in Asia, which are themeselves far from agreed. In the U.S. even the April para-xylene contract remains outstanding. Parties are reported to be far apart in European ethylene glycol talks for May. Sources say markets say economic signals are mixed, and that demand growth for end-use materials remains...
