Ineos Moves to Quarterly Pricing for Wire and Cable PE Grades

Ineos Polyolefins says it is moving to a pricing structure for all wire and cable polyethylene (PE) grades that is based on the quarterly European contract price for ethylene. “Unlike purely commodity markets, where switching suppliers can be commonplace, contracts in the wire and cable markets are typically negotiated for one year or more,” says Andre Scheelen, sector manager/construction and durables at Ineos Polyolefins.
