Economics :: Prices Feedstock, Energy Costs Prompt Dow to Raise PU Prices10:51 AM MDT | June 23, 2008 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Dow Chemical says it will increase prices in its polyurethane (PU) chain to offset rising feedstock and energy costs. The company is increasing prices for polyols, methylene di-para-phenylene isocyanate (MDI), and PU by €150/m.t. in Europe, effective July 1. The company is also increasing polyols prices by €130/m.t. or $200/m.t. in Africa, India, and the Mideast.
