Dow Announces More VAM Increases

Dow Chemical says it is increasing the price of vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) in all regions due to rising energy and raw material costs. Off-schedule VAM prices will increase by 5 cts/lb in North America, $110/m.t. in Asia and Latin America, and €50/m.t. in Europe, effective August 1 or as contracts allow.
