Economics :: Prices Cristal increases titanium dioxide prices10:50 AM MST | February 28, 2013 | Lindsay Frost Cristal announced it is increasing prices, effective 1 April, on anatase and rutile titanium dioxide (TiO2) products in North America, Europe, the Mideast, Africa, Latin America, and Asia/Pacific. In North America, prices will increase by 10 cts/lb. In Eastern Europe and Western Europe, which includes Turkey, TiO2 products will increase by a minimum of €200/m.t. (US$262), the company says. In Russia and other European US dollar markets, prices for the products will increase by US$300/m.t. In the Mideast and Africa, TiO2 products, sold in US dollar markets...
