Economics :: Prices CW Price ReportCommentary9:04 AM MDT | May 8, 2009 Spot naphtha in Europe rose $30/m.t., while North American naphtha gained about 12 cts/gal due to higher crude oil prices. ethane and propane each rose 4 cts/gal, while butane gained 3 cts/gal. U.S. ethylene contracts for March and April finally settled at a decrease of 1.5 cts/lb in a two-month settlement. In Europe, ethylene and propylene were quiet, while butadiene rose €30/m.t. for the May contract, producers say.
