Basic Chemicals Price Watch

Dow Chemical says it will increase the off-schedule price for acrylic monomers and vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) in all regions due to continued pressure on margins. Prices for acrylates and VAM will increase by 3 cts/lb, or $66/m.t., and prices for methacrylate and specialty monomers will increase by 4 cts/lb, or $88/m.t.
