Aromatics prices mostly up

In aromatics sellers ran the table on both sides of the Atlantic. Spot benzene and toluene on the U.S. Gulf was reported higher by 15 cts/gal, while mixed xylenes tacked on a nickel. Spot styrene recovered from its swoon to recover 2 cts/lb. In Europe, spot benzene was said to be higher by $45/m.t. while toluene rose $50/m.t. Mixed xylenes had more modest gains of $10/m.t. and styrene was reported richer by $15/m.t. And after touching twelve-month lows, methyl tert –butyl ether bounced back $20/m.t. traders...
