Economics :: Prices Aromatics Activity Slow But Steady9:51 AM MDT | April 20, 2010 | Lindsey Bewley Aromatics on the U.S. Gulf Coast were a little more active than the previous week, traders say, but not by much. Spot benzene declined by 5 cts/gal taking spot styrene down two cents with it. The April contract for mixed xylenes was agreed lower by just 2 cts/gal. In Europe the pattern was similar, with bezene lower by $90/m.t. and styrene off by $80/m.t. sources say.
