MACROECONOMIC STATUS Our running tab of positive indicators rose by two to 17 out of 20 this week. Thus, we continue to post a green banner. Consumer Prices up 0.1%; up 1.5% year-on-year (YOY) Existing Home Sales up 1.7% to 5.48 million unit annual pace Building Permits down 3.8%; up 11.0% YOY Housing Starts up 0.9%; up 19.0% YOY Industrial Production up 0.4%; up 2.7% YOY Capacity Utilization up 0.2 points, to 77.8% Empire State Survey down 2.0 points, to 6.3 Philadelphia Fed Survey up 13.0 points, to 22.3 (strong) LEI up 0.7%; up 4.2% YOY BUSINESS OF CHEMISTRY...
