During the week ended 3 October, chemical railcar traffic in North America decreased 1.7% year-over-year (YOY) on declines in the United States and Mexico. For all of North America, chemical railcar traffic during the week totaled 42,849 carloads, up 2.8% from the previous week, according to data released on 07 October by the Association of American Railroads (AAR).
