Ineos has announced plans to close its vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) facility at the Saltend production complex near Hull, UK. The closure will result in the loss of 18 jobs, the company says. Ineos said in late 2012 that it had a total workforce of 50 at Saltend. Ineos has not specified when the plant would cease production....
