H.I.G. Capital (Miami), a private equity firm, has announced that its portfolio company Valtris Specialty Chemicals (Independence, OH) has acquired Akcros Holdings, a company owned by private-equity investment group Grove Industries (Stratford-upon-Avon, UK).
