During the week ended 6 June, chemical railcar traffic in North America fell year-over-year (YOY) on declines in the United States. For all of North America, chemical railcar traffic during the week totaled 42,174 carloads, flat from the previous week, and down 4.4% YOY, according to data released by the Association of American Railroads (AAR) https://www.aar.org/. Chemical railcar traffic in North America is up 0.8% for the year to date, versus a 2.3% decrease in all railcar traffic, according to AAR.

For all of North America, chemical railcar traffic during the week totaled 43,484 carloads, up 1.2% from the previous week but down 2.1% YOY, according to data released on 27 May by the Association of American Railroads (AAR).
