CF Industries (Deerfield, IL) plans to debottleneck the urea plant at the Courtright nitrogen complex in Sarnia, ON, beginning later this year. The company expects to complete the project in the fourth quarter of 2017 for a cost of $85 million. During the week ended 6 June, chemical railcar traffic in North America fell year-over-year (YOY) on declines in the United States. For all of North America, chemical railcar traffic during the week totaled 42,174 carloads, flat from the previous week, and down 4.4% YOY, according to data released by the Association of American Railroads (AAR) https://www.aar.org/.
