During the week ended 7 February, chemical railcar traffic in North America declined from the previous week, but it increased year-over-year (YOY), with a particularly strong gain in Canada. For all of North America, chemical railcar traffic during the week totaled 43,880 carloads, a sequential decline of 1.6%, but an increase of 3.8% year-over-year (YOY), according to data released on 11 February by the American Association of Railroads (AAR).
