The government of Alberta has approved two propane dehydrogenation (PDH) projects for royalty credits under the province’s Petrochemical’s Diversification Program (PDP). A C$4 billion integrated propylene-polypropylene facility proposed by Pembina Pipeline Corporation and Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) would receive credits of up to C$300 million. A C$1.85 billion propylene plant proposed by Inter Pipeline would receive credits of up to $C200 billion. Both projects remain in the planning phase....
