LSB Industries (Oklahoma City) has awarded a $5.3-million contract to Rockwell Automation to supply process automation systems for a 360,000-m.t/year nitric acid plant and a 375,000-m.t./year ammonia plant that LSB is building at its El Dorado, AR, facility. The nitric acid plant, estimated to cost $120 million, will replace a plant lost in an explosion in 2012. LSB has estimated the cost of the ammonia project, which was announced in 2013, at $250-300 million....
