Chemical production increased in all regions but Latin America last month, according to ACC. The association says its global chemical production regional index rose 0.3% on a three-month moving average basis between March and April and 4.8% year-on-year. Capacity utilization increased 0.1%, to 84.0%, the highest since January and up from 83.4% in April 2013 but well below the 1987–2013 average of 92.0%.
