Chevron Phillips Chemical (CPChem; The Woodlands, TX) is studying a 10,000-m.t./year expansion of low-viscosity polyalphaolefins (PAO) capacity at its Cedar Bayou plant at Baytown, TX, from 48,000 m.t./year.
